I hope you are having a great summer. By the sounds of people laughing
and kids having fun, it looks like many of you are enjoying the lake. This
is our first email; unfortunately, some folks didn't supply an email
address and may not get this.
I am sending this out as a test, I guess I'll find whose emails bounce as
undelivered. Please set your spam filters to accept these emails. We will
not abuse this email ability or give your emails to anyone except our board
if necessary.
Just a couple of notes
--We are out of extra keys and no more are available so please be
careful with your lake keys. Please make sure that you lock the gate when
you enter and exit.
--We are hoping to have the ability to do an evening movie soon, so
look for an announcement.
-- You might occasionally see the Mi Wuk Sugar Pine Fire Department
using the lake. This is partially a gift for them serving our community
and also they use it to test their pumpers to make sure that they can draft
water in the event of a fire.
-- We have heard about a few rude lake users and some intruders. Our
president, Doug, has been available on occasion and I will certainly come
down in the event of people who don't respect our rules. Of course, since
this is a community lake we all share the responsibility to keep this as a
safe place for families.
-- The lake is beautiful so thanks to Doug and all the helpers who have
created this beautiful space. We have had many inquiries from people
wanting membership, but it is limited to those whose residence is in the
original Sugar Pine Water District.
The weather is hot so enjoy the water!
